The Board of Directors (BOD) is the second highest decision making body after the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and is responsible for the formulation of strategy (providing sustainability and institutional growth direction), ensuring that the accounts present a true and fair view of the institution’s state of financial affairs and safeguarding the assets of the institution.

It achieves this through oversight of management. Other responsibilities include; ensuring that operations are within the legal framework (laws, regulations and bye-laws).
The members of the BOD are well to do farmers with vast experience in dairy farming. They have had a lot of capacity building from different development partners both within and outside Uganda. They thus bring rich experiences and skill mix from other organizations where they serve in different capacities like schools, hospitals, SACCOs, Government.
