Toro Dairy retains full ownership of its brand, assets, and intellectual property, while Khalifa & Sons contribute the capital, technical expertise, and entrepreneurial networks needed to transform farmer milk into high-quality products for both domestic and international markets.
Every litre processed at Toro Dairy directly benefits our farmers through commissions and a fixed monthly fee. At the same time, the Cooperative remains fully engaged in negotiating milk prices, shaping marketing strategies, and safeguarding certifications that uphold the integrity of the Toro Dairy brand. A joint operations team ensures transparency, accountability, and shared decision-making at every stage.
With decades of business experience and extensive market access, Khalifa & Sons are enabling Toro Dairy to overcome long-standing barriers of under-capitalization, limited processing skills, and restricted market reach. Together, we are building a farmer-owned yet professionally managed dairy enterprise that creates jobs, empowers women and youth, and uplifts livelihoods across the region.
Already, within just three months of implementation, the partnership has seen Toro Dairy-branded milk successfully packaged and sold on the market—a strong and promising start to this transformative journey.
