Building Inclusive & Sustainable Dairy Development

The 2022-2026 Trias-DGD Project in the Rwenzori Region

About the Project

Fostering a prosperous, self-sustaining dairy farming community in Rwenzori

Our Vision & Mission

The Trias-DGD Project (2022-2026) is a five-year Organizational Development Plan developed in partnership between Toro Dairy and Trias under the Belgian-funded DGD Programme.

Our vision is to foster a prosperous, self-sustaining dairy farming community where farmers embrace innovation, improve productivity, and build resilience against socio-economic challenges.

The project translates ambition into action, ensuring that farmers—particularly women, youth, and disadvantaged groups—access high-quality services and actively participate in shaping the dairy value chain.

Through enhanced animal husbandry, value addition, and brand marketing, we aim to improve livelihoods while building a resilient dairy sector in Uganda.
